A bill for 3 years imprisonment for holding a rally without permission in Islamabad was developed in the Senate Committee.
The meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Interior was held at the Parliament House under the chairmanship of Senator Faisal Salim Rehman. The committee approved four bills including the bill for holding a peaceful procession in the capital, while one bill was postponed. According to the approved bill, those who hold or participate in a rally in Islamabad without the permission of the government will be punished with imprisonment for up to 3 years.
According to the bill approved by the Senate Committee, a rally can be held at Sangjani in Islamabad or in any area where the government allows, those who hold a rally or participate in it without the permission of the government can be jailed for up to three years. will
Discussing the bill, Senator Irfan Siddiqui said that the said bill is related to the legislation in force in Islamabad, where even today, given various demonstrations and protests, the roads have been blocked by placing containers at important places and due to which the citizens are disturbed. are victims of

Senator Saifullah Abarone said that peaceful protest is the right of every citizen in the constitution, what happened yesterday on the Kashmir highway should have been raised the way Senator Mushtaq was raised.
The committee sought a report from the Ministry of Interior on the illegal arrest of Senator Mushtaq Ahmed and the behavior of his family members.
