At the start of trading in the exchange market, the dollar’s value decreased, while on the other hand, the Pakistan Stock Exchange saw a shift from an initial upward trend to a decline.
On the second business day of the week, the dollar became cheaper by 10 paisas in the interbank market, bringing the value of the U.S. currency to 277.77 rupees.
Meanwhile, the stock market began with positive momentum but later witnessed a downward trend. The Stock Exchange’s 100 Index dropped by 615 points, settling at 81,235.
Yesterday, the stock market also experienced a sharp rise during the first session, but by the end of the day, a decline was observed.
