Matrix Pakistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Youth Affairs, and the University of Malakand will organize the Pride of KP Awards during the fifth Matrix Pakistan Youth Summit on 10 October 2014, which will be the largest youth summit and award ceremony in the history of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Pride of KP Awards will be given to 12 individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities and fields. These awards are given to recognize and encourage people who have shown outstanding performance in various fields such as philanthropy, environmental protection, sports, technology, and community development.
The award ceremony will be held at the University of Malakand, where the efforts made for the social betterment of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be appreciated.
Among the recipients of the award are Muhammad Ali Swati (Pakistani rescue worker and philanthropist), Muhammad Tauseef Khan (environmental activist), Imad Ali (business personality and philanthropist), Ayesha Ayaz (Taekwondo champion), Muhammad Irfan ( social activist), Qaiser Nawab (global youth leader and environmental activist), Muhammad Adeel Khan (social entrepreneur and community leader), Adnan Khan (journalist), Noreena Shams (squash player), Raja Ahmed (technology strategist and entrepreneur), Mudassar Shafiq (Telecom and IT Expert), Sameera Shams (Politician and Social Activist).
Matrix Pakistan Youth Summit has become an important platform for youth participation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This flagship event will host more than 30 national and international companies, speakers, and innovators. Along with this, there will also be an expo highlighting the technology, education, and business development sectors, where participants will be able to interact with experts and leaders.
Hassan Nisar, Chief Executive Officer of Matrix Pakistan, said that he was honored to host this historic event and said, “This event will pay tribute to the real assets of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The summit will also feature national and international speakers who will engage the youth in workshops on skills that are relevant to the current needs in the global scenario.

The fifth edition is expected to be the biggest as it will include participants from technology, education, and business sectors.
