Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has issued a special message on the International Day of the Elderly.
Maryam Nawaz has said in her message that the elderly are the reflection of our past, the light of the present, and a lesson for the future.
He said that the elders have made our present possible by giving their youthful energies, experiences, and sacrifices.
The Chief Minister of Punjab further said that senior citizens of Pakistan are the capital of Pakistan, and I pay tribute to them.
He has also said that respect for the elderly is part of our beliefs and culture, and the Punjab government is improving the old homes for the elderly citizens.
