The Punjab government has imposed Section 144 in various cities, and mobile phone and internet services are closed in Mianwali while 2 Rangers companies have also been deployed.
Due to the implementation of Section 144, all kinds of political gatherings, sit-ins, rallies, and demonstrations have been banned in Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Toba Tek Singh, Mianwali, Chiniot, and Jhang.
In view of PTI’s protest, containers have been erected in various cities, in Bahawalpur, more than 100 PTI workers have been booked and 5 workers have been arrested for violating Section 144.
