The Punjab Cabinet approved the project of marriage of 3 thousand girls from poor families.
The 17th cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, in which the project of marriage of 3 thousand girls from poor families was approved in the province.
Under the project, each bride will receive a greeting of Rs.1 lakh through an ATM card. The bride will also receive furniture, clothes, a dinner set, and 13 consumable items.
The cabinet also approved to allot one lakh acres of land to landless farmers on leases of 3 and 5 years.
The Cabinet meeting also approved the e-bus service scheme in Punjab. In the first phase, 27 buses will be delivered. By the end of the year, 680 e-buses will be functional across Punjab.
