According to the details, the woman claiming to be the victim’s mother on social media, on the issue of unconfirmed news of the rape of a first-year student in a private college, turned out to be a liar.
The Lahore Police detained the woman who was spreading chaos from Karachi and a case was registered against the accused under the PICA Act in Gulberg police station.
Police say that the detained accused has been transferred from Karachi to Lahore, from which the investigation is going on, the name of the accused is Sara Khan and evidence of her affiliation with a political party has been found.
The accused said in the initial statement that the video clip was uploaded to get views on social media.
The police said that the accused will be presented before the JIT to record the statement, but the number of cases registered for spreading unconfirmed news has increased to 4.
