Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated Republican Party candidate Donald Trump on his success in the US presidential election and said that Pakistan is willing to work with the new US administration.
Addressing the ceremony of providing newly constructed houses to the flood victims in Ghazar, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated President Donald Trump on his re-election as president and said that the two countries will further strengthen and expand bilateral relations.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that due to climate change in August 2022, when there was a flood in Ghazur, it was a scene of destruction. The devastating rains and flood had razed the entire village to the ground, such a disaster has never been seen.
He said that by the grace of Allah, a new settlement has been built here today, the construction of quality houses for the flood victims is commendable, today all the affected families will be given house ownership papers, I am happy that today again Ghazar Aya, I congratulate Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Haji Gulbar Khan and all the officers who worked hard to build this house.
The Prime Minister said that he had announced an endowment fund of 50 lakh rupees for the daughter of the nation, Tanzeel. He is happy that the fund has reached 67 lakh rupees today. He said that I have not seen chimneys in these houses, on which instructions have been given to arrange chimneys in the houses so that people can live comfortably in winter.
The Prime Minister while issuing instructions to build a standard school, dispensary, and playground in the newly constructed settlement said that the dispensary should have all other facilities including X-ray, and maternity. He also directed the provincial government to conduct third-party validation of the constructed houses and said that any deficiency should be filled.
