Third T20: Pakistan Defeated by Australia

In the third and final T20 match, Australia defeated Pakistan, securing a 3-0 series victory.

It should be noted that in the last T20 match being played in Hobart, Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha won the toss and decided to bat.

Chasing the target set by Pakistan in the match played in Hobart, Australia’s innings was opened by Matthew Short and Jack Fraser McGurk, however, fast bowler Shaheen Afridi sent Matthew Short to the pavilion on a total of 16 and scored 30 runs. But Jehandad Khan also showed Jack Fraser the way back.

The third bowler of the Kiwis was Josh Ingles who scored 27 runs and fell victim to Abbas Afridi’s ball.

After the loss of three wickets, Marcus Stoins and Tim David led their team to victory, Stoins played a brilliant innings of 61 runs off 27 balls with the help of 5 sixes and 5 fours, while Tim David remained unbeaten by scoring 7 runs.

Pakistan’s innings:

Sahibzada Farhan and Babar Azam started the innings from the Pakistan side, but Sahibzada Farhan again proved unsuccessful and returned to the pavilion after scoring only 9 runs, while Haseebullah returned after scoring 24 runs.

In the second T20, Usman Khan, who scored a fifty, managed to score only 3 runs, while national team captain Salman Ali Agha managed to make only one score in 9 balls.

Former captain Babar Azam scored 41 runs and was bowled by Adam Zampa, while Irfan Khan was run out after scoring 10 runs. Apart from this, Abbas Afridi also made a run and became a passenger on the way to the pavilion.

While T20 debutant Jahandad Khan was caught on the boundary in an attempt to score 6, he scored 5 runs. Pakistan’s last player to get out was Safian Moqim who managed to score a run.

On the other hand, Aaron Hardy took 3 wickets on behalf of Australia, while Adam Zampa and Spencer Johnson took two wickets each.

It should be noted that in the series of three T20 matches, Australia has a decisive lead of two zero against Pakistan.

In the first T20I, Australia defeated Pakistan by 31 runs, while in the second T20I, the Kangaroos defeated the Green Shirts by 13 runs.

In the third T20 match played between Pakistan and Australia, Pakistan had already officially announced their 11 players who will take the field.

For the third T20 match, Salman Ali Agha, Sahibzada Farhan, Babar Azam, Haseebullah, Usman Khan, and Muhammad Irfan are included in the playing XI.

Apart from this, Abbas Afridi, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Jehandad Khan, Haris Rauf, and Sufian Muqim will also play today’s match.

On the other hand, former captain Babar Azam’s performance continues to be poor, due to which he is facing constant criticism from Pakistani fans.
