The dead bodies of those killed in the firing of unknown armed persons on passenger vehicles in Karam district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were brought to Parachinar where they will be buried in their native areas after the funeral prayers today.
According to the news report, there is an atmosphere of mourning in Parachinar against the terrorist incident and the business community has announced a complete shutdown.
Yesterday, unknown armed men killed 40 people including women and children by firing on passenger vehicles while 30 were injured in the attack.
Ziarat Hussain, a resident of Parachinar, told ‘Reuters’ on the telephone that there were 2 convoys of passenger vehicles, one of which was going from Peshawar to Parachinar and the other was going to Peshawar from Parachinar when armed men opened fire on them.
Ziarat Hussain further said that his relatives were traveling from Peshawar to Karam.
