Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said that the disruptive group does not want a revolution but bloodshed in the country, and targeting law enforcement personnel is a highly condemnable act.
Condemning the incident on the Suri Highway where Rangers and police personnel were run over by a vehicle, the Prime Minister instructed that the individuals involved in the incident be immediately identified and given due punishment.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of the Rangers personnel who were run over by the vehicle in the attack and prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and patience for their families.
In his statement, the Prime Minister also directed the provision of the best medical facilities to the Rangers and police personnel who were injured in the attack.
Shahbaz Sharif stated that attacks on police and Rangers personnel under the guise of so-called peaceful protests are condemnable. The disruptive group is deliberately targeting law enforcement agencies. Police and Rangers personnel are assigned to maintain peace and order in the city.
The Prime Minister further stated that the lives of security personnel’s families have been destroyed by the disruptive group’s actions. The disruptive group is accountable for the innocent children and families of the police personnel yesterday and the martyred Rangers personnel today.
He said that the disruptive group does not want a revolution but bloodshed; this is not peaceful protest but extremism. Pakistan cannot afford any chaos or bloodshed.
Shahbaz Sharif concluded his statement by emphasizing that bloodshed for nefarious political purposes is unacceptable and highly condemnable.
