Pakistan Airports Authority has made an important announcement regarding the operationalization of New Gwadar International Airport.
According to a statement issued by Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), Acting DGPAA Zeeshan Saeed visited New Gwadar International Airport along with Deputy DG Airports Sadiqur Rehman.
On this occasion, Project Director Faizullah Khattak while briefing them said that preparations for the operationalization of New Gwadar International Airport have entered the final stages, New Gwadar International Airport will become operational by the end of this month.
According to PAA, the project team also gave a detailed briefing to airport stakeholders regarding business opportunities and economic zones. The Acting Director General expressed satisfaction over the operational preparations of Gwadar Airport
According to a PAA spokesman, New Gwadar International Airport equipped with modern facilities has cost 246 million dollars including a Chinese grant. The airport will have a large runway and a modern terminal building, which will be suitable for all types of large aircraft. , the airport will promote trade and economic development.
