In the apex committee meeting held in Peshawar, it was decided to eliminate all the bunkers in the Karram district.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Corps Commander Peshawar, Chief Secretary KP, IG, and relevant members participated in the meeting.
In the meeting, the measures taken by the provincial government to establish peace in Karam were reviewed, while the participants were also briefed regarding Karam.
The meeting was apprised of the progress by the Grand Jirga.
In the meeting, decisions were taken for the provision of essential goods and peace in Karam and a strategy was formulated for sustainable peace.
There has also been progress in disarmament in the region.
