Only 6 Projects for Sindh: CM Sindh Sends Protest Letter to Federal Government

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah wrote a letter to the federal government in protest.

He said that there is a dispute between Sindh and the Federation on the Karachi-Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway project. He wrote in the letter that out of 105 projects of the National Highway Authority, only 6 projects have been planned for Sindh.

In the letter, he mentioned that 33 projects have been allocated for Punjab by the National Highway Authority, with the federal government spending 38% of the National Highway budget on Punjab. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been allocated 17%, and Balochistan will receive 23% of the funds.

National Highway Authority has kept only 4% of the budget for the project of Sindh, Chief Minister Sindh said that the National Highway has proposed 708 billion projects for Punjab this year and 62 billion has been allocated in the budget.

Murad Ali Shah protested and said that the National Highway for Sindh proposed 78 billion projects and only 7 billion has been allocated.
