As Donald Trump comes to power, a crackdown has been launched against illegal immigrants.
More than 7,000 illegal immigrants have been arrested in the last week while around two and a half thousand migrants have been arrested.
According to Homeland Security, the detainees belong to Mexico, Senegal, Venezuela, Afghanistan, Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Columbia.
On the other hand, after the operation against immigrants in the United States, Latin American and Caribbean states have called for an emergency meeting to consider the issue, while Colombia has accepted all the terms of President Trump.
