Mayor Murtaza Wahab issued warning notices to utility companies on the illegal excavation of roads in Karachi.
Senior Director Coordination has issued notices to K Electric, Water Corporation, Sui Southern, and other companies.
The notice states that there will be legal action against companies that are without permitted roads, the illegal digging of utility companies affected the highway Noor Jahan and Chakiwara Road.
According to the notice, a case will be registered against the relevant companies on the road without permission, utility companies must get a permit to dig the road.
Mayor Karachi says the city’s infrastructure will not allow further damage and immediate action will be taken.
