Khalid Qadoumi, the spokesperson for the Palestinian resistance group Hamas, stated that they will not accept the intervention or pressure from US President Donald Trump.
Speaking via video link at a seminar organized by Tanzeem-e-Islami in Islamabad, Khalid Qadoumi said that Gaza will be rebuilt and will rise stronger than before.
He emphasized that there can be no compromise on the rights of Palestinians, and with Allah’s help, they have defeated Israel.
Qadoumi further stated that the Israeli military will not have a presence in Gaza.
It is worth noting that US President Donald Trump, while announcing a long-term occupation of the Gaza Strip, had said that he envisions a long-term ownership position in Gaza.
During a press conference at the White House with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump had stated, “We will develop Gaza, provide jobs for the people of the region, settle citizens, and under the plan for Palestinians, leaders from Jordan and Egypt will provide space.”
Trump also mentioned that he had discussed the idea of relocating Palestinians from Gaza with other Middle Eastern leaders, who liked the idea. He envisioned people from around the world settling in Gaza after his plan is implemented.
