LAHORE: Pakistan’s aggressive temperament young batter Saim Ayub has been suffering from an ankle injury during a Test series against South Africa.
According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Saim Ayub was fielded while fielding during a Test match against South Africa on January 3.
Doctors have advised Saim Ayub to rest for 10 weeks based on an MRI scan and other medical reports. According to the PCB, Saim Ayub is feeling better right now, but his availability for a visit to New Zealand will depend on his fitness. He will continue his rehab in England in the meantime. Remember that the Whiteball Series between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played from March 16 to April 5.
