Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, in her message on the International Day for the Elimination of Violent Extremism, strongly condemned all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism.
She stated that Pakistan has made immense sacrifices in the fight against extremism and terrorism.
Maryam Nawaz emphasized that intolerance and extremism must be discouraged at every level and that no form of extremist ideology will be allowed to thrive on Pakistan’s soil. She reaffirmed the government’s commitment to a united struggle against terrorism and extremist ideologies, highlighting Punjab’s efforts in promoting peace, tolerance, and harmony.
She further stated that the Punjab government is steering the youth towards education, development, and positive thinking rather than extremism. The core objective of Punjab’s policies is to create a society built on tolerance, love, and unity.
Maryam Nawaz vowed to establish a secure, progressive, and peaceful Punjab that will serve as a global example of harmony and coexistence.
