The Meteorological Department has predicted rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms in Islamabad and its surrounding areas during the night.
The department stated that Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, and Mansehra are likely to experience rain with thunderstorms, along with snowfall in the mountainous regions. Abbottabad, Haripur, Buner, and Bajaur are also expected to receive rain with thunderstorms and snowfall in the hills. Similarly, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Kurram, Waziristan, and Peshawar may experience rain with thunderstorms and snowfall in the mountains.
In addition, most districts of Punjab are expected to experience cold weather with partly cloudy skies. Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Mangla, Attock, and Sargodha may witness rain with strong winds and thunderstorms. Mianwali, Bhakkar, Khushab, Hafizabad, and Gujranwala are also likely to receive rain with strong winds and thunderstorms. Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, and Sheikhupura are expected to experience rain with strong winds and thunderstorms. Faisalabad, Jhang, and Toba Tek Singh may also receive rain with strong winds and thunderstorms.
In Murree and Galyat, rain and snowfall in the mountains are expected. Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Muzaffargarh, and other cities may experience light rain. Hailstorms are also predicted in some areas of upper-central Punjab during the evening and night.
In most areas of Sindh, the weather is expected to remain dry with partly cloudy skies. Quetta, Ziarat, Qalat, Barkhan, and Musa Khel are likely to receive rain and snowfall in the mountains. Zhob, Qilla Abdullah, Chaman, Sibi, Qalat, Khuzdar, and Pishin may also experience rain and snowfall in the hills. In other districts of Balochistan, the weather is expected to remain cold with partly cloudy skies.
