QUETTA: A special anti-polio campaign has begun today in Quetta, Chaman, Pishin, and Fort Abdullah in Balochistan.
During the campaign, children will also be vaccinated against anti-polio.
According to Emergency Operations Center officials, a special anti-polio campaign will continue till February 27 in 78 union councils of the four high-risk districts in the Quetta block.
During the campaign, the target of vaccination for more than 4 million children has been set.
According to medical experts, poliovirus is prevalent in environmental samples in several districts of Balochistan, in which case parents should impose FIPV vaccines, this vaccine protects against the effects of poliovirus.
