Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan has said he is unable to replicate his Pakistan Super League (PSL) performances in international matches.
Speaking at a press conference, Shadab Khan said that fans must be disappointed because, as a team, they are not playing better than Pakistan. He admitted that he, too, has not been able to perform in international matches the way he does in the PSL, but mentioned he is working hard in domestic cricket.
He added that the entire year has not been good for the national team; however, he hopes players will regain form moving forward.
Shadab Khan noted that their tour of New Zealand did not go well, but emphasized the importance of standing by players during tough times. He stated that when players are supported, they perform better.
He also praised Sahibzada Farhan, saying he is in top form and is expected to perform similarly for the national team. Shadab commended Hasan Ali for his hard work over the past year, which is now clearly visible.
