Karachi – In PSL 10, the disinterest of Karachi’s fans was evident as the stadium failed to attract even its full capacity of 32,000 spectators during five matches of the ongoing event. On no day did the number of attendees reach even ten thousand.
A slight increase in attendance was observed on Monday. Major reasons behind the empty stadiums include strict security, overpriced food and beverages, and one-sided matches. Even the abundance of prizes couldn’t draw the crowds.
According to one spectator, it’s impossible to stay thirsty during a five-hour match. A woman remarked that fans need facilities, not just prizes. She suggested the use of scanner machines for ease and recommended that tickets also be made available at banks to facilitate purchases.
