Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s political engagements during his visit have stirred discussions in the political circles.
According to sources, Maulana Fazlur Rehman met with Senator Faisal Vawda at his residence upon the latter’s invitation. The two leaders held a detailed conversation on the current political situation in the country.
During the meeting, Maulana Fazlur Rehman remarked that if the public accepts a party and its manifesto, then which forces are responsible for obstructing their path to power?
Responding to this, Senator Faisal Vawda stated that no significant political change is taking place in the country. He added that whenever someone is in need, they turn to Maulana.
Vawda also admitted that while he learned political lessons from the PTI founder and Asif Zardari, Maulana Fazlur Rehman remains his true mentor.
On the occasion, Maulana asserted that governments in the country cannot be formed without JUI’s involvement.
