West Indies’ explosive all-rounder Kieron Pollard has created a new chapter in T20 cricket history by achieving a unique milestone.
During the ongoing Major League Cricket (MLC) in the USA, Pollard represented MI New York and played his 700th T20 match, becoming the first player in the world to reach this number of appearances in T20 cricket.
In this historic match, 37-year-old Pollard played an unbeaten innings of 34 runs off 16 balls against San Francisco Unicorns and also took two wickets with the ball.
However, he couldn’t turn the match into a memorable win for his team, as MI New York suffered a 47-run defeat while chasing a target of 246 runs.
