The Karachi protest 2025 took a tense turn on Monday as police used tear gas to stop a large group of demonstrators marching toward the CM House. The protest, organized by civil rights groups, aimed to highlight soaring inflation and long power outages across the city.
Protesters began their march peacefully from Numaish Chowrangi. But as they reached the Red Zone, police fired multiple rounds of tear gas to disperse the crowd. Dozens of protesters, including women and students, were seen coughing and fleeing the area.
