Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar has arrived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to attend the 21st extraordinary session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers. The meeting is being held today at the OIC Secretariat in Jeddah, focusing on the critical situation in Palestine.
Upon his arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport, Ishaq Dar was warmly received by Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the OIC, Ambassador Fawad Sher, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmad Farooq, and Consul General Khalid Majid.
The session is being attended by foreign ministers and senior officials from various Muslim countries. The agenda includes discussions on the current situation in Palestine, Israel’s plans for military control over Gaza, and the continued violations of the Palestinian people’s rights. The meeting aims to reach a consensus on adopting a joint and effective Islamic response against Israeli aggression.
The primary objective of the session is to reaffirm support for the Palestinian people and present a united Islamic stance against Israel’s atrocities, ensuring that the voice of the Muslim world is heard globally.
