For the next fifteen days, the price of petroleum products will be lowered, according to the announcement made by the Pakistani government. The Ministry of Finance said in a notification that the updated prices went into effect at midnight and would be in effect for the next two weeks.
According to the announcement, the price of high-speed diesel has been lowered by Rs. 3 while the price of gasoline has been kept at Rs. 264.61 per liter. High-speed diesel’s new price after the reduction is Rs. 269.99 per liter.
Furthermore, the price of light diesel has been cut by Rs. 2.40 per liter, and the price of kerosene has been reduced by Rs. 1.46 per liter. The Ministry of Finance stated that this adjustment has been made to provide relief to the public while taking into account fluctuations in global oil markets.
