The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its latest player rankings for T20 and One-Day formats, bringing mixed fortunes for players worldwide. Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza has claimed the spotlight by rising to the top position as the No. 1 all-rounder in ODI cricket, while Pakistan’s star batters Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have both slipped out of the top 20 in the T20 batting charts.
According to the updated list, Babar Azam has fallen three spots to occupy the 21st position, while Mohammad Rizwan has slipped two places to 22nd in T20 batting rankings. Young batter Hassan Nawaz, however, made progress by climbing two places to reach 31st. At the top of the T20 batting table, England’s Joe Root leads at No. 1, followed by teammate Harry Brook in second place, while New Zealand’s Kane Williamson is ranked third.
In the T20 bowling rankings, no Pakistani player features among the top 20. Sufyan Muqeem has moved up 11 spots to 21st, Shaheen Afridi improved by eight places to reach 26th, while Haris Rauf dropped four positions to 28th.
For T20 all-rounders, India’s Hardik Pandya continues to hold the No. 1 spot, with Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi climbing one place to take second position.
In ODI rankings, Sikandar Raza’s outstanding performances against Sri Lanka have propelled him to the No. 1 all-rounder position. Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai dropped to second, while Mohammad Nabi slipped to third.
Among ODI batters, Pakistan’s Babar Azam remains steady at No. 3. Captain Mohammad Rizwan, however, slid one place down to 26th, while opener Fakhar Zaman improved his position by one spot, moving up to 27th.
