Suhana Khan, daughter of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has landed in legal difficulties following the purchase of agricultural land in Mumbai’s Alibaug. According to Indian media reports, during the transaction, official documents allegedly identified her as a “farmer,” which has now become the center of legal scrutiny.
Reports indicate that Suhana acquired the land for approximately ₹12.91 crore from three sisters—Anjali, Rekha, and Priya—who had inherited the property as part of their ancestral estate. Since the purchase, the matter has become contentious, raising questions about the legality of the deal.
It has further been revealed that Suhana Khan purchased two valuable plots in Alibaug with a combined worth of ₹22 crore. These acquisitions took place in 2023 and 2024 and were registered under Deja Vu Farms Pvt Ltd, a company owned by Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan’s mother and sister-in-law.
Media reports suggest that the classification of Suhana Khan as a farmer in the land documents is now creating legal complications, as local laws governing the ownership and transfer of agricultural land are highly restrictive. Any violation of these regulations could result in formal legal proceedings against her.
