Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has rejected rumors linking him to the presidency of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
According to Indian media reports, the BCCI is set to hold elections for key positions later this month. In the run-up to the polls, speculation grew that Tendulkar might be considered as the board’s next president.
Some reports even suggested that the legendary batsman could replace Roger Binny in the top role.
However, Tendulkar has now categorically dismissed these claims, making it clear that he will not be contesting in the upcoming BCCI presidential elections.
