A key member of the notorious Jajja Gang, involved in the Greece boat tragedy, has been arrested. The suspect, identified as Asif Ali Jajja, was wanted by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in four separate cases.
Investigations revealed that Jajja defrauded several victims of nearly Rs. 12.3 million by promising to send them to Europe. He was part of an international human smuggling network and was also engaged in preparing fake documents to send citizens abroad, including attempts to send people to Greece.
Authorities confirmed that Asif Jajja had arranged for multiple individuals to travel illegally to Europe by boat. It should be recalled that many young people lost their lives in the tragic Greece boat accident.
