The Anti-Terrorism Court has issued arrest warrants against Khadija Shah, daughter of a former finance minister, in connection with two high-profile cases related to the May 9 incidents. The court took this step after she repeatedly failed to appear before the trial proceedings despite being summoned multiple times.
According to the court order, Khadija Shah’s arrest warrants have been issued in the Jinnah House and Askari Tower attack cases. These cases also involve several other accused whose absence from the hearings was noted with concern by the court.
The court has also issued arrest warrants for eight additional absentees, including Imran, Faiza Azmat, Usman, Ahmed Mursaleen, Hamza Sohail, and Muhammad Khalid.
Furthermore, the court directed the initiation of proceedings to declare Abdul Razaq and Safdar as proclaimed offenders. Both are accused in the Jinnah House attack case and failed to appear despite arrest warrants already being issued against them.
