Actress Saima Qureshi has once again reiterated her stance on second marriages, stating that men should prefer marriage over extramarital relationships. According to her, nearly 95% of men desire to have a second marriage.
In a recent appearance on the FHM podcast, Qureshi said that if men are fond of having affairs, it is better for them to take responsibility, as one man’s wrong move can affect an entire generation.
She explained that if a man plays with someone’s emotions or builds false hopes, he should remember that his own children are growing up. Therefore, instead of engaging in unlawful or immoral relationships, marriage is the better choice.
The actress further stated that men do not hesitate when pursuing extramarital affairs, so they should not hesitate to marry and take their wives into confidence. She added that she has personally seen many men living happily with both their wives.
Qureshi also emphasized that, in religion, taking permission from the first wife is not mandatory for a second marriage, although informing her is necessary. She noted that some women themselves arrange their husbands’ second marriages, and examples of this are even visible in the media.
It is worth recalling that in February 2025, Saima Qureshi had made similar remarks on the same YouTube podcast, saying that men do not need their first wife’s consent for a second marriage and that it is better to marry than to pursue extramarital relations.
