Karachi is expected to experience hot and dry weather over the next three days, with meteorologists warning that sea breezes may remain weak or partially inactive during this period, intensifying the heat felt across the city.
According to the Early Warning Centre of the Meteorological Department, northwesterly winds from Balochistan are likely to blow during the early part of the day, while westerly winds may prevail in the evening. This shift in wind patterns is expected to reduce humidity levels and increase heat intensity.
The department has forecast that maximum daytime temperatures in Karachi could reach up to 37°C over the next three days, urging residents to take precautionary measures, especially during peak afternoon hours.
Officials further explained that the current weather pattern reflects a seasonal transition, with winter winds expected to gradually take over in the coming weeks. From early to mid-November, temperatures in the city are likely to drop, bringing a noticeable change in weather conditions.
It is noteworthy that October is traditionally considered one of the hottest months in Karachi after May and June. Daytime temperatures typically reach up to 37°C, while nighttime temperatures remain between 23°C and 25°C.
