The Punjab government and Punjab Police have strongly refuted claims that security has been withdrawn from Bilawal House Lahore, calling such reports baseless and misleading. Officials confirmed that security arrangements remain fully intact and routine operations continue without any changes.
Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari issued a statement clarifying that reports suggesting security withdrawal are entirely fabricated and have no connection with reality. She stressed that Bilawal House’s security remains at the same level as before and no instructions have been issued to reduce or alter it.
The Punjab Police spokesperson also dismissed the reports, saying that the security at Bilawal House is fully operational and the personnel deployed are performing their duties as usual. He explained that a few officers were temporarily on rest, but replacements were immediately sent to ensure uninterrupted security coverage.
He further added that minor rotations in deployment are routine at sensitive locations and linking them with security withdrawal is misleading and politically motivated. The spokesperson reiterated that no such directive has been issued by the Punjab government.
Officials emphasized that security at Bilawal House Lahore remains part of a broader high-level security plan for political leaders, and there is no indication of any threat or extraordinary situation at present.
