The price of gold continues to fluctuate in the domestic bullion market. After a big increase yesterday, a slight decrease in the price of gold was recorded today.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, gold is being sold at Rs 418,862 per tola in bullion markets across the country after a decrease of Rs 1,000. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has also decreased by Rs 857 to reach Rs 359,106.
According to experts, this decline in the price of gold is due to the effects of price fluctuations in the global market. In the international market, gold is trading at $3965 per ounce, down $10.
Analysts say that gold is under pressure from global investors due to the appreciation of the US dollar and the decline in crude oil prices, but a large-scale decline in prices is unlikely due to continued demand in the local market.
