Islamabad: The District and Sessions Courts in Islamabad have declared Ali Amin Gandapur a proclaimed offender in a liquor and arms recovery case, issuing a written verdict in the matter.
Judicial Magistrate Mubashir Hassan Chishti, in his written decision, directed the police to arrest the accused and present him before the court immediately after his apprehension. The court stated that the decision was taken due to the accused’s continuous absence and failure to comply with legal requirements.
According to the court order, a head constable informed the court that notices under Section 87 had been pasted against the accused, and a detailed report regarding the proclaimed offender proceedings had also been submitted to the court.
The verdict noted that the circumstances clearly indicate the accused has gone into hiding, prompting the court to formally declare Ali Amin Gandapur a proclaimed offender.
The court also cancelled the surety bonds submitted on behalf of the accused, issued permanent arrest warrants, and ordered that his name be added to the list of proclaimed offenders. Additionally, the court directed authorities to initiate legal action against the guarantor.
Court records show that the case against Ali Amin Gandapur, related to the recovery of liquor and weapons, is registered at Bara Kahu Police Station.
