Gold prices across the country continue their upward trend, with a sharp increase recorded today. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs 14,800, taking the new rate to Rs 529,162 per tola.
The association reported that the price of 10 grams of gold also increased significantly by Rs 12,689, reaching Rs 453,671. The sharp rise in prices has raised concerns among buyers and investors in local bullion markets.
Meanwhile, gold prices in the international market also witnessed a notable increase. The price of gold rose by $148 to reach $5,064 per ounce, a trend that has directly influenced the surge in domestic gold prices.
