Gold and silver prices have seen a slight decline in global and local markets today.
According to a report by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, gold became cheaper in the country’s bullion markets on Friday, the fifth day of the business week, after which gold prices in the global and local gold markets fell below their highest levels.
According to the report, one tola of 24-karat gold became cheaper by Rs 7,100 in the country on Friday, after which the price of gold per tola has reached Rs 533,262.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of 10 grams of gold has similarly decreased by 6,087 rupees to 457,186 rupees.
On the other hand, the price of gold in the international market has decreased from $71 to $5,105 per ounce.
According to the report, the price of silver in the country also saw a decline, with the price of silver per tola decreasing by Rs 324 to Rs 8,851, while the price of silver per 10 grams decreased by Rs 278 to Rs 7,588.
