The Sindh government has issued a notification announcing public holidays on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr, under which official holidays will be observed across the province and all government offices and institutions will remain closed.
According to the notification, Eid ul Fitr holidays in Sindh will be observed on March 20 and 21, during which official activities will remain suspended and employees will avail the festive break.
Meanwhile, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has also announced Eid holidays, stating that the holidays in the province will be from Thursday, March 19 to Saturday, March 21. The administration department has issued an official notification in this regard.
Earlier, the federal government also announced two public holidays for Eid ul Fitr. According to the statement, holidays will be observed on March 20 and 21, 2026 across the country, and the notification was issued by the Cabinet Division following the Prime Minister’s approval.
