Heavy rainfall across several parts of the United Arab Emirates has led to waterlogging on multiple roads, disrupting traffic flow and causing inconvenience for residents.
According to international media reports, the UAE Meteorological Department has issued a new weather warning stating that intermittent rainfall is expected to continue in various regions until March 27.
Reports indicate that the highest rainfall was recorded in Al Manama area of Ajman, where heavy downpours resulted in water accumulation in low-lying areas, affecting local conditions.
Meanwhile, rainfall in Dubai and Abu Dhabi has brought a noticeable drop in temperature, while water has accumulated in areas such as Ghiyathi, Al Wathba, and Mohammed Bin Zayed City in Abu Dhabi following intense showers, impacting daily life.
The Meteorological Department has also forecast more rain in different areas tonight, with showers expected in northern and eastern regions on Thursday, while rainfall intensity is likely to decrease on Friday.
