Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is set to arrive in China today for an important official visit, where he will participate in high-level discussions.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the visit is being undertaken at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, with a focus on strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
During the visit, detailed discussions will be held on Pakistan-China bilateral relations, the current regional situation, and matters of mutual interest at the global level, with expectations of further strengthening the strategic partnership.
The statement noted that both countries share an all-weather strategic cooperative partnership, under which continuous coordination and consultation are maintained on regional and global issues.
The spokesperson added that Ishaq Dar’s visit to China, despite a recent minor shoulder fracture, reflects Pakistan’s strong commitment to its close relationship with China.
