A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) aircraft that had been grounded at Paris Airport for the past three days due to a technical fault has resumed operation and landed safely in Lahore this morning.
According to aviation sources, the aircraft had departed from Islamabad for Paris on August 8. However, upon arrival at Paris Airport, a technical malfunction was detected, leading to its temporary grounding.
Sources further stated that the aircraft remained parked at Paris Airport for three days while awaiting repairs. Yesterday, a PIA engineering team arrived in Paris and successfully fixed the issue after carrying out the required technical work.
Following the completion of repairs, the aircraft departed for Lahore early this morning and landed safely. Aviation officials confirmed that the plane will undergo another round of technical inspection to ensure it is fully safe for future flights.
