Saudi Arabia has announced four days of Eid ul Fitr holidays for the private and non profit sectors, while in Pakistan a three day public holiday is expected for the festival.
According to an Arab news agency, the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources announced the Eid holidays for private and non profit organizations.
Official spokesperson Mohammad Al Razqi said that Eid ul Fitr holidays will begin after the end of work on Wednesday, March 18 (29 Ramadan), and will continue for four days.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Meteorological Department has issued a forecast regarding the Eid moon, stating that Eid ul Fitr is expected to fall on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
According to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division regarding public holidays, Eid ul Fitr holidays in Pakistan for 2026 are expected on March 21, 22, and 23.
