The district administration has issued a notification declaring a public holiday on March 4. According to the announcement, all government and semi-government offices in Khairpur will remain closed on the occasion of the Urs of Hazrat Sachal Sarmast.
Officials stated that the official ceremonies for the 205th Urs of Hazrat Sachal Sarmast will commence on the 14th of Ramadan, with special arrangements being made at the local level.
Meanwhile, the Sindh government has announced two days of leave for Hindu employees on the occasion of Holi. As per the notification, Hindu employees across Sindh will observe holidays on March 3 and 4 to celebrate their religious festival.
