Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faiz Isa has replied to Justice Mansoor Ali Shah’s letter.

Justice Mansoor Ali Shah had refused to attend the Practice and Procedure Committee meeting.

According to the sources, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah had written a letter and expressed reservations on the Presidential Ordinance, he questioned the expulsion of Justice Muneeb Akhtar from the committee.

Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa has written a reply letter to Justice Mansoor Ali Shah’s letter.

The contents of the letter written by the Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faiz Isa have not been revealed yet, but he has given 11 reasons for not including Justice Muneeb Akhtar in the committee.

In the letter, the Chief Justice has written that Justice Muneeb’s attitude towards senior judges was very harsh, this was done on your insistence Justice Mansoor, legally you cannot question which judge the Chief Justice should include in the committee because I Having always supported accountability and transparency, I will provide reasons.

The Chief Justice wrote in the letter that I will provide the reasons why Justice Muneeb Akhtar was replaced, remembering that I am doing this on your insistence, so that no one gets offended.

He said that Justice Muneeb Akhtar had strongly opposed the Practice and Procedure Law, Justice Muneeb was among the 2 judges who neglected the caseload and took the entire summer vacation to do court work during the vacation. were not available.

Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa says he insisted on attending committee meetings despite being on vacation, which shows his lack of confidence in the next senior judge, Justice Yahya.

In the letter, the Chief Justice has written that the Practice and Procedure Act states that urgent cases will be fixed for hearing in 14 days, Justice Muneeb Akhtar refused to hear urgent constitutional cases against the constitutional and legal right of the petitioners and took leave. Prioritized.

They say that contrary to the tradition of the Supreme Court, they did not respect their senior judges (ad hoc judges), limited the senior judges (ad hoc judges) to the hearing of 1100 such cases, the ad hoc judges also the cases of the Shariat Appellate Bench. They were not allowed to listen.

The Chief Justice said in the reply letter that Justice Muneeb Akhtar behaved rudely, rudely and inappropriately to a respected member of the committee, which included all the Chief Justices and the most senior judges were also part of it, by merely issuing an interim order. Working till 11 p.m., his fellow judges complained about his behaviour, issuing a stay order on the audio leak case and not allowing the case to be fixed for hearing.
