Due to the ongoing crisis in the Middle East, due to the increase in crude oil prices in the international market, petrol is also likely to become expensive in Pakistan.
According to the sources, it has been proposed to increase the price of petrol by Rs.4 and high-speed diesel by Rs.10 to 25 paise per liter.
The average price of petrol in the international market has increased from around $76 per barrel to around $79 per barrel.
It should be noted that during the last two months, the prices of petroleum products have been reduced four times in Pakistan.
