Chief Justice Amir Farooq heard the petition related to the recovery of founder PTI’s focal person Intizar Panjutha. Ali Bukhari and Shoaib Shaheen appeared and took the position that Intizar Panjutha is in Lahore, but his mental and physical condition is not such that they can come.
The Chief Justice directed the police to record the statement of Intar Panjhota and conduct a thorough investigation into the incident. The Chief Justice further said that I saw on TV related to Intar Panjutha and felt very bad, it is a source of shame for the institution and all the people, missing persons and street crimes have increased a lot.
Addressing the Additional Attorney General, the Chief Justice said that even this incident should be treated as kidnapping for ransom, but still these incidents should be prevented.
He remarked that the law and order situation in Islamabad is very bad.
