Islamabad High Court Orders Meeting of Founder PTI with Family and Lawyers on Tuesday

The Islamabad High Court directed the family and lawyers to meet PTI founder Imran Khan on Tuesday.

In the Islamabad High Court, Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan heard the contempt petition for not meeting the PTI founder despite the court order.

Imran Khan’s lawyer Faisal Farid Chaudhry, Superintendent Adiala Jail Abdul Ghafoor Anjum, and Advocate General Ayaz Shaukat appeared before the court.

Faisal Chaudhry stated that the meeting was scheduled for the previous day, but it was not held. He was informed that the Rawalpindi-Islamabad road was blocked yesterday, which also affected the general public. Asad Qaiser and Shibli Faraz were also stopped outside Adiala Jail.

Advocate General Islamabad said that he has submitted a response in this contempt of court case, he has clarified in his response that there are three coordinators as per the court order, while no list has been given to him that these 6 people want to meet. are

Lawyer Faisal Farid Chaudhry said that Intizar Panjhotha was the coordinator who was missing, he had given the list.

Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan while talking to the Advocate General said that you are saying that the list has not been given, they are saying that the list has been given. This list is given to you now.

Superintendent Adiala Jail said that their doctors check up on the PTI founder three times a day, Thursday is reserved for family, lawyers, and Dr. Z, and Wednesday is for political leaders and friends.

The Advocate General told the court that there would be a meeting next week, as the SOPs had been fixed, three coordinators were appointed as per the court order, and they had to name 6, 6 who could go for the meeting.

Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq Khan inquired as to who would meet with the founder of PTI. A dispute has emerged between the jail authorities and the founder of PTI’s coordinator. The list of individuals with whom Imran Khan wishes to meet, including family, friends, and lawyers, will be submitted to the court. The Superintendent of Adiala Jail will take the list and send it to the Advocate General of Islamabad. It is hoped that this will resolve the dispute between the jail authorities and the founder of PTI’s lawyers.

He stated that he would form a commission and meet with the founder of PTI in jail.

The court directed that Imran Khan’s family and lawyers be allowed to meet with him on Tuesday.

The court also instructed that a copy of the list from the founder of PTI be sent to PTI’s secretary, Salman Akram Raja.
